The Green Footprint programme will also be expanding its education initiative to offer power point and flip chart handouts to those WFCA members that would like to join our education programme. These presentations can be used at any forum, be it a coffee morning, a cocktail party, a school meeting, a ladies night in or any forum that enables a green footprint member to educate friends, family and colleagues on Climate Change and how we can all make a difference. WFCA would like to encourage any member who would like to participate in this programme to contact WFCA. We will be rolling this out no later than January 2007.

The Green Footprint Programme is the central platform to WFCA.

WFCA’s primary target is to encourage as many people as possible to become carbon neutral. In order to achieve this our first recommendation is for everyone to switch to 100% accredited Green Power. (Please refer to the section on Climate Change for a full and detailed explanation).  Everyone who joins WFCA and converts to a 100% accredited green power supplier will upon confirmation of the conversion receive a green footprint key ring from Dinosaur Designs. This will enable us to measure the success of our education initiative. Please send a copy of your energy bill sighting the conversion to our address and we will send you our Green Footprint key ring. These will be rolled out in January 2007.

After conversion WFCA will be rolling out it’s Green Footprint Efficiency List. This will offer a step by step guide on how to reduce your reliance on energy. As green energy is costlier to supply (at the moment) we are encouraging all energy users to in effect be more efficient and use less. The Efficiency List will be published soon.
